The Bible says in James, “For as the human body apart from the spirit is lifeless, so faith apart from works of obedience is also dead.” It is not enough to merely hope and pray for God to change a situation. Although we, as Christians, are obligated to have faith, our hope is useless unless we supplement that faith with our actions.
