Update on March 4-9, 2010 Trip
April 22, 2010

The mission trip organized by Rony Coffer's brother, Ken, was a huge success! The team of 21 people from North Carolina, South Carolina and South Florida arrived in Managua on March 4th. On the mission trip the team visited 5 villages. While in each village the team completed child sponsor updates, distributed 'Feed My Starving Children' food packs, grilled hot dogs for everyone in the village, and painted the inside and outside of the churches. The group also brought 2 pinatas to each village for the children. During the trip, over 1,100 hot dogs were grilled! It was such a blessing to see the villagers enjoying a hot dog, especially when many of them had never seen or eaten one in their lifetime. Just before the team arrived, a member of the previous trip donated funds to purchase a pair of flip flops, shampoo, bath soap, and laundry powders for every person in the village of Pascuala. Ken's team was blessed with the opportunity to visit Pascuala to distribute all that had been donated. When returning to the compound each night, there were minor surgeries conducted by Save A Generation's on staff doctor. Team members had the opportunity to assist in these surgeries as well. Many more miracles and blessings took place over the 5 days the team was in Nicaragua. Please join us on a mission trip to have your own life changing experience!
