They treated over 1000 people and spent U$5000 dollars purchasing medicine for the people. Also his construction team replaced the roof on our library at our Pascuala School. They invested U$1400 dollars of their own money for this project.

- Saint Olaf Church was here in February 2010 with a medical and construction team. The medical team treated over 800 people and the construction team invested U$1200 in restoring a widow’s house.

- My brother Ken and Amanda came down in March 2010. They had a nurse in their team (Tiffany McCoy) with our full time doctor (Dr. Anderson) going with them to the villages giving medical care. Ken’s team also painted 4 churches and feeding stations and the team assisted SAG with child updates.

- In June The Cistern Project was completed - Thank you to Richard Fowler and his foundation for supporting this project. A water Cistern was built in the village of Santa Cruz - A life changing blessing to all the people in this village! Richard also gave seed to the farmers to grow crops and village people for them to plant their own gardens.

Save A Generation's Accomplishments - 2009

  1. In the beginning of the year a program was started for the widows. This program provides 27 widows and elderly a package of food worth $20 dollars every month.
  2. SAG opened the feeding station of Torrez. Here about 100 children are being fed 3 times a week.
  3. The feeding station of Somotillo was reopened this year. Over 220 children are being fed 3 times a week.
  4. The Orphanage at Somotillo was closed because the Nicaraguan Government forced all the Orphanages in the country. The Government has decided that every child should be with a family member.
  5. SAVE A GENERATION was blessed with a donation allowing them to purchase a brand new truck (TOYOTA DYNA). This truck allows SAG to deliver food to the feeding stations, transport medical supplies, bags of clothes, shoes, toys, and other needs. It also helps haul construction materials.
  6. SAVE A GENERATION received a donation of a container of food worth in $ 50,000.00 to help feed the 16 feeding stations and widows. Just one container can help with feeding for about 5 months.
  7. SAVE A GENERATION with the help of God and partners, an additional room is under construction at the house of the Pastor in Los Laureles.
  8. SAVE A GENERATION purchased a Bicycle for Pastor William Briton, this Pastor oversees two villages and does a great job, he believes for a motorcycle.
  9. SAVE A GENERATION with the help of partners helped the church of Los Laureles dig the well of the church. This greatly benefits the village because in the dry season their other wells go dry.
  10. SAVE A GENERATION along with SECOF Construction donated time and funds for the road to Santa Cruz to be bulldozed and rolled smooth. Santa Cruz is a village that lacks of water and is located 8 KM from the main highway. This project made it possible for SAG to deliver goods by truck to the village.
  11. SAVE A GENERATION was able to continue supporting the Elementary in the school of Pascuala. Trusting God for 2010 to support Middle School as well.
  12. SAVE A GENERATION provided Pastors Teachings, a conference in Somotillo. Over 230 pastors and leaders were at the church with Pastor Scott from New Bern, Vacation Bible Studies through all of Somotillo.
  13. SAVE A GENERATION purchased toys, school supplies, and personal items for girls the end of the year for all the children in the feeding program.
